Carmella was the matriarch of the Guidarelli family and lived to be 101 beautiful years old. Deborah and her grandmother had a bond that was incredibly strong. Gramma was everything to her.
Carmella's joy and passion in life was cooking and feeding her family and Deborah loved watching her grandmother in the kitchen. She soaked in every authentic recipe her grandmother taught her.
When Deborah got married and started her own family, she soon realized she wanted to be the one to carry on Gramma’s Italian traditions.
Wine Cookies and Salt & Pepper Sticks were family favorites. Deborah has made these two delicious treats for many friends and loved ones over the past 25 years.
Carmella’s Joy was finally created in 2023 to bring these authentic Italian baked goods to the public and to honor the joy and happiness from which they are so deeply rooted.
Carmella's Joy is currently a cottage food business. Our products are produced in a home kitchen that may process common food allergens and is not subject to public health inspection.
However, all products are made by licensed food handlers.
